How do you discuss money with your partner during pregnancy?

I am in a long-term relationship, and we both work good jobs. We have never had to depend on each other for money, or put our funds together for anything. Found out we are pregnant, how do you start a discussion about partner helping financhially with prescriptions, co pays, and other expenses? I don’t want to seem driven by money, but I know it is a conversation that we must have before more expenses begin to arise. I want to do it as caring and tactfully as possible, without offending him like he isn’t doing anything.

My partner is great since none fit me anymore lol but hes paid for money for every and anything ive needed for my partner is something need.
