How much money should I allow to backpack around Europe?

I am planning to travel to Europe for around 3 months and am wondering how much money I should allow, in total. I will be travelling around many countries, (Britain, Germany, France, Belgium, Greece, Italy, Spain etc), and will stay in youth hostel type accomadation. Thanks

The train stations have to work out what you could live off less than 20 day for food drinks and shower for example if you go with friend or somthing.
