I’m planning a vacation to St Thomas. How much spending money should I budget for each day. I don’t plan on dining out expensively often, maybe once or twice, the rest will be like grocery shopping or fast food. I would like to do one or two activities like parasailing or snorkeling. Other than that it would be just money for alcoholic drinks and souvieners. How much money should I plan on bringing with me?

I am about to advance some money to a startup company (a Massachusetts LLC) to cover their startup costs. What do I need to do to make this money deductable on my personal income tax, particularly if that company ends up failing? How do I formally “give” this money to them and how do I write them off on my own 1040?

Also, if you have any suggestions for a trip to Australia, hit me up with them!

StudMonkey asked: Say that money is no limit - I mean, for 10-trillion dollars you could use that money to invest in programs that save the lives of countless pets. Thus, by eating your own pet, you could save the pets of others.
So, what would be the minimum amount of money you would require to eat your pet? Your choice of condiments.

How much money should I expect to pay for new brake pads for a Hyundai Accent 2002 model? I’m trying to figure out a good price and avoid being over-billed for a standard procedure.

My understanding is as follows: If you report every penny you make, then you will owe nothing and get nothing when filing your taxes. But what happens if you just recieve a check not related to work and deposit it directly into the bank? Should that additional money be reported?

amylaneproductions asked: For my US Government class we have to make an Obama political ad and our idea for it is to talk about how he’s not going to throw money away at stupid stuff. So were going to film money being thrown at things that the government right now shouldn’t be spending so much money on now when or economy isn’t doing well. Were going to film money being thrown at gas tanks because too much money is spent on oil industries and also throw money at a globe because money is being thrown at other countries when our country needs it. But we need at least one more thing that the government shouldn’t be spending money on. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!
